gamt software package provides Serial-over-lan (sol) client for Intel AMT, gtk version, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gamt
gamt is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gamt package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gamt *
You will get with gamt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
